■Asked by the person in charge, behind the scenes of the production of "Vol. 2
In this issue of Gachapara, we spoke with a Nichirei Foods representative about the "Nichirei Frozen Food Miniature Charm 2.
-- What kind of response did you get from the first round?
The response was much greater than expected, giving us an opportunity to reaffirm Nichirei's affinity for frozen foods.
It was also impressive that by developing products in the form of Gashapon, the brand was enjoyed at a different point of contact than in the past.
-- What made you decide to produce the second volume?
The second event was planned in response to the popularity of the first event, and was realized with the hope of further expanding opportunities for many people to experience Nichirei's representative products.
In addition to expanding the lineup, the series is being developed as a series with a higher degree of perfection and attention to detail.
-- What has been the response within the company?
Within the company, there is growing interest in this initiative as a new way to communicate the appeal of the company's products, and it was an opportunity to reaffirm the strength of the brand.
We recognize that the sale of our products in the form of Gashapon is an opportunity for our employees to become even more attached to and proud of our products.
-- Please give us your guesses and comments on this issue.
A key feature of this new series is the thorough attention to detail in pursuit of a quality close to the actual product, from the texture of the packaging and the notation on the back, to the color and shape of the contents.
Because the product is familiar to us in our daily lives, we believe that the reproduction of details directly affects the value of the experience, and we aimed for a level of reproduction that would make people feel "familiar" the moment they picked up the product.
Through the Gashapon channel, we hope to broaden the contact with the brand, and to provide an opportunity for people to feel that Nichirei's products are familiar to them.
