Sanrio's figure gacha has had a royal cute series such as "House Time Figures" and "Ghost Play Figures," but this time, to our surprise, the theme is "Shumai!
This is actually the third in the Sanrio Characters x Food series, following "Sushi" and "Tempura". This concept is original to the gacha and is a limited design only available here.

I turned with great enthusiasm, aiming for Cinnamon, my top choice, but the results were "Hello Kitty" and "Peckle the Duck"!
Although I didn't get what I was looking for, the actual product is so cute that I couldn't help but loose my cheeks.

A member of the Sanrio unit "Happidanbuy," she is actually a character who is making waves right now, having made the Top 10 (10th place) in the "2025 Sanrio Character Awards" for the first time in 31 years, since 1994!
Recently, you can see a lot of fans on social networking sites. Peckle-kun is being commercialized more and more, and the quality of his shumai appearance this time does not disappoint.
Look closely at this wrinkle expression ....... What a surprise, the clothes are used to produce the skin of a Chinese dumpling! Isn't this idea interesting?
Personally, I thought Peckle-kun was more endearing than Kitty-kun, because Peckle-kun's overall silhouette is more rounded, giving it more of a "shumai" feel.
Even more remarkable is the green piece on top of the head. This is actually a hat, and it is fastened with a ribbon knot under the chin! This expression on Peckle-kun's face adds to the surreal cuteness (laugh).

Next is Kitty. When I turned the kitty and it came out, I was excited even if it was not my favorite kitty.
When placed side by side with Peckle-kun, Kitty looks a little larger in size. Is it the volume of her face?
The trademark ribbon and the green pea hat coexist in the picture, which is the most important point. The pose with her hand tucked under her chin is also full of mock cuteness!
When placed on the seiro, it is even more "shumai"!
