Capsule Toy Specialty Store Achieves Guinness World Record, CANDY TUNE Takes the Stage!

On June 16th, the capsule toy specialty store at "BANDAI NAMCO Cross Store Tokyo" was certified by Guinness World Records for having the most capsule toy machines in a single venue, with 4,096 machines. CANDY TUNE was in attendance at the official awarding ceremony.

Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo's Gachapon Specialty Store Guinness World Records™ Certified! Female Idol Group "CANDY TUNE" Also Appeared at Official Certification Ceremony.

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, "Gashapon Bandai Official Shop," the official Bandai "Gashapon®" specialty store, and "Gashapon no Depaato," a specialty capsule toy store, both operating within "Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo" (Toshima-ku, Tokyo) operated by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., were certified by Guinness World Records™ with the presence of an official adjudicator, setting the world record for the most capsule toy machines at a single venue with 4,096 machines.

On the same day, an award ceremony was held for the official certification, with members of the girls' idol group CANDY TUNE (affiliated with ASOBISYSTEM) attending to celebrate and liven up the awarding ceremony for the Guinness World Record™ for the largest number of capsule toy machines installed worldwide.

Members of the female idol group CANDY TUNE also participated in the certification work.

On the same day, an official certification award ceremony was held, and Rino Fukuyama, a member of CANDY TUNE, received the official certification. Following that, a talk session was held where all members of CANDY TUNE spun Gashapon.

In the Q&A talk where they answered questions from inside capsules, in honor of Guinness World Records™, CANDY TUNE shared the world records they want to challenge in the future and revealed secret episodes in a flip talk format.

In celebration of CANDY TUNE's Guinness World Record™, a messages of congratulation were written on a "Gashapon Machine Try," a roughly 1/2 scale model of Bandai's official Gashapon machine series.

This Gashapon Machine Trial will be exhibited for a limited time at "BANDAI NAMCO Cross Store Tokyo" after the event.

During the talk session, an announcement was made as a surprise to the CANDY TUNE members that their items would be commercialized as part of Bandai Co., Ltd.'s original capsule toy brand "Gashapon®," which greatly excited the venue.
